The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) is a key member of the Mercy Research team, responsible for coordinating research studies in GYN Oncology. This role involves day-to-day operational tasks, volunteer recruitment, and interaction with physicians, nurses, and patients. The CRN will also assist in training and preceptor duties, and will be responsible for collecting, compiling, and analyzing clinical research data.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate research studies in GYN Oncology, including volunteer recruitment and interaction with physicians, nurses, and patients
* Assist in training and preceptor duties for new staff members
* Collect, compile, and analyze clinical research data, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
* Communicate with sponsors and CROs to ensure smooth study execution
Requirements:
* BSN or RN with 4 years clinical experience in lieu of BSN
* Registered Nurse with valid license in state of practice
* 2 years nursing experience, preferably in GYN nursing
* CIP/CCRC/CCRP certification preferred
