Role Summary:
As a Metal Fabrication Specialist II, you will play a crucial role in shaping, cutting, bending, and finishing sheet metal to produce a diverse range of items, including components, shelving units, and tables.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver's license required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement quality assurance and safety measures during the handling, cutting, and welding of materials
- Operate welding machinery to assemble metal components
- Shape and manipulate materials in accordance with project guidelines
- Execute finishing processes such as sanding, polishing, and cleaning of cut materials
- Undertake additional tasks as needed
Physical Demands:
This position requires physical endurance and strength, including repetitive motions, extended periods of standing, and the capability to lift heavy items exceeding 60 pounds without assistance.
Work Environment:
Successful candidates should be comfortable working in outdoor environments and unconditioned areas, regardless of weather conditions. Additionally, they should be capable of working at heights using ladders, lifts, or on rooftops.
