- Design and deliver instruction that promotes student growth, differentiation, and formative/summative assessments.
- Utilize technology and resources to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Student Growth and Development
- Monitor student progress through ongoing formative and summative assessments.
- Analyze data to inform instruction and make adjustments to meet student needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and test data.
- Classroom Management and Organization
- Create a positive and productive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
- Establish and enforce clear expectations for student behavior and conduct.
- Manage classroom resources and materials effectively.
- Communication
- Develop and maintain effective communication with staff, students, parents, and the community.
- Provide regular updates on student progress and academic achievements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement arts-integrated, project-based learning experiences.
- Professional Growth and Development
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field.
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for the subject and level assigned.
- English as a Second Language certification preferred.
- Ability to lead, influence, and hold others accountable to high standards of academic and artistic excellence.
- Strong learning orientation and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Successful criminal background check required.
