Taxation Specialist

PacifiCorp is seeking a skilled Taxation Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the compliance team, this individual will be responsible for preparing federal, state, and local income tax returns, quarterly estimated tax payments, and conducting income tax research and analysis.
About This RoleThis role requires strong knowledge of tax law and procedures, tax research skills, familiarity with various tax returns and schedules, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and six or more years of related work experience, four of which should be in income tax accounting with a certified public accountant designation or a graduate business degree.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns and quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Conduct income tax research and analysis.
- Participate in the preparation of annual and quarterly income tax provisions.
- Provide technical input and recommendations for management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Six or more years of related work experience, four of which should be in income tax accounting with a certified public accountant designation or a graduate business degree.
- Strong knowledge of tax law and procedures.
- Familiarity with various tax returns and schedules.
This position offers a salary range of $87,600 - $103,100 per year and an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 12% of salary. PacifiCorp also provides benefits including health care, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance, paid short-term and long-term disability, and paid bereavement leave.
