Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, your primary responsibilities will include executing established nuclear medicine protocols. You will be responsible for:

  • Ordering, preparing, and securely storing radiopharmaceuticals; administering injections as per physician directives.
  • Collaborating with physicians to refine diagnostic study plans.
  • Analyzing raw data and ensuring studies are accurately positioned and of high quality.
  • Conducting decontamination procedures and maintaining the security of all radioactive areas.
  • Participating in on-call duties and adapting to varying shifts as required by the department.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Certification from CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Proficiency in performing Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance with established standards.

This position requires full vaccination against COVID-19 in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (unless an exemption is granted).
