Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Cardiology team at WellSpan Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our physicians in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient history and gather information to inform care decisions
  • Perform specialized procedures, examinations, and tests as ordered and aligned with the Ambulatory Clinical Scope Document
  • Ensure patient care areas are adequately stocked with unexpired supplies and medications
  • Relay information and facilitate communication between providers and patients
  • Evaluate patient health status and determine the urgency for care
  • Track and review diagnostic test results to ensure accurate patient care
  • Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle changes and disease management
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited LPN program
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Basic Life Support certification
