We are excited to announce an opening for a Community Protection Specialist with the City of East Palo Alto. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and visitors.

Key Functions:
• Patrol designated areas to maintain public order and safety
• Respond to emergency situations and conduct investigations
• Collaborate with other departments to address community needs
• Provide exceptional customer service and support

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited police academy and equivalent to high school diploma
• Relevant education and/or experience in law enforcement or a related field
• Valid California driver's license and satisfactory driving record

Compensation Package:
Hourly wage: $42.53 - $51.69
Monthly salary: $3,317 - $4,032
Work schedule: 18 hours/week
