Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer - Process Development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new and existing processes for TETRA from concept to the finished operating process within our Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities
  • Design and develop process flow diagrams and material and energy balances
  • Use CAD programs to build or modify line drawings
  • Perform complex chemical engineering calculations
  • Lead projects from concept to completion, including defining scope, building cost models, acquiring equipment, writing procedures and test plans, assembling and directing construction and commissioning teams, conducting start-up, and turning over operational projects to regional management teams
  • Provide training and guidance to others on process improvements
  • Work collaboratively with all levels of the organization to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • 10+ years of active process/project experience, pilot and/or full-scale experience in Oil and Gas, Wastewater, or Industrial/Municipal Water Treatment preferred
  • 50% travel required
  • Lean experience desired - Six Sigma, Yellow, Green, Black Belt
