Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Supervisor - Underground at Blackhawk Mining, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and electrical functions of the mine. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment maintenance, and supervisory skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and electrical work in the assigned area of the mine.
• Ensure that all electrical equipment is in safe and permissible condition, reducing downtime and increasing cost effectiveness.
• Direct and oversee the repair work to ensure safe and efficient completion.
• Supervise all maintenance activities for mobile and stationary equipment in the assigned area.
• Maintain communication equipment in operable condition.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure operating condition and remove from service for repair when required.
• Order parts and supplies for repair work.
• Participate in the evaluation of equipment life for rebuilds or replacements.

Requirements:

• WV/MSHA Underground Low, Medium, and High Voltage Electrical certification required.
• WV Underground Miner certification required.
• Minimum 5 years underground maintenance experience required.
• Minimum 2 years underground supervisory experience required.
• WV Underground Mine Foreman certification (preferred).
• Emergency medical technician (preferred).
