Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Packaging Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate packaging equipment and machinery to meet production needs and goals.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Closely monitor packaging quality, make necessary adjustments, and communicate changes to ensure high-quality products.
  • Perform Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting and predictive maintenance inspections, as well as minor repairs as needed, to minimize downtime and product shrink.
  • Record Keeping: Keep detailed records and document changes made to the machine during the shift.
  • Set-up and Cleaning: Perform set-up activities, such as mechanical assembly, and load packaging materials, as well as maintain a clean and organized working area.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in shift exchanges and work team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience running a production/packaging line is preferred, as well as experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Certification/Licensure: Ability to be forklift and pallet jack certified, as well as Lockout Tagout (LOTO) certified.
  • Skills: Demonstrate attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, problem-solving skills, and basic math skills.
