We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Crisis Master's Level Placement Specialist to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center. As a key member of our crisis team, you will be responsible for providing face-to-face assessments and referrals to individuals experiencing a psychiatric emergency.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine the level of service needed
- Facilitate referrals to link clients with necessary services
- Follow up with clients to ensure treatment is being rendered
- A Master's degree in a health-related field, such as counseling, psychology, or social work
- Experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or co-occurring diagnoses
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments under pressure
This position requires frequent community involvement and the ability to work in a variety of settings, including in-person assessments and telehealth. You must be able to maintain professionalism at all times while on shift.
Compensation and BenefitsThe starting salary for this position is approximately $54,631 per year, based on relevant experience and education. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 24 hours per week. You must be able to provide transportation as needed and have a valid driver's license. F endorsement is required and must be obtained within the first two weeks of employment.
