Job Description
The Quality and Patient Safety Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Key responsibilities include:

Quality and Patient Safety Consulting
• Provide quality and patient safety consulting services to internal client groups
• Develop and implement programs to enhance patient care and reduce errors
• Analyze data to inform decision-making and drive quality improvements

Program Administration
• Administer quality and patient safety programs and initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement projects
• Provide training and education to staff on quality and patient safety best practices

Subject Matter Expertise
• Serve as subject matter expert on quality and patient safety initiatives
• Provide guidance and support to staff on quality and patient safety matters
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in quality and patient safety

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, quality improvement)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare-related position, preferably in quality and performance improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
