Job Overview

The Olgoonik Corporation seeks a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee environmental construction projects in Lubbock, Texas. As an essential team member, you will be responsible for ensuring project success through effective management and coordination of site activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Tracks on-site labor hours, maintains construction project schedule, evaluates the quantity of materials, equipment, and human resources required.
  • Communication: Works closely with the Project Manager to communicate changing requirements, scheduling, subcontractor issues, and any other issues that arise during construction.
  • Safety Compliance: Responsible for oversight of installation project safety compliance, bringing problems to the attention of the Project Manager and Site Safety and Health Officer.
  • Field Supervision: Directly supervises and coordinates all field activities of assigned mid to large scale construction projects.
  • Team Leadership: Schedules and coordinates field activities, supervising project crews to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, morale, and communication.
  • Quality Control: Recognizes and communicates site conditions that potentially impact quality, cost, and/or schedule.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with emphasis in superintendence involving mid to large scale construction projects. Experience at Department of Defense sites is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a technical or engineering discipline, but extensive experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • Experience and training must include understanding of construction methods, techniques, equipment, and hands-on experience in a supervisory position.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $110,000 per year, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
