Emergency Room Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist ER Nacogdoches. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role

As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve quality patient outcomes and provide exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and scientific judgment to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
  • Demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team.
  • Have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Methodist ER Nacogdoches is a 24/7 freestanding emergency center serving the Northeast and surrounding area. Our state-of-the-art facility features 7 all-private treatment rooms and a full range of services, including radiology, a full-service laboratory, and telemetry. We offer the benefit of immediate intervention for emergencies and provide 24-hour monitoring and testing of patients.

Our compassionate team of medical professionals work to stabilize critical patients and transport, should they need hospitalization, to a Methodist hospital in San Antonio.
