Position Overview

This role is pivotal in delivering outstanding service to our customers in alignment with Peoples Bank policies. Responsibilities include opening deposit accounts, processing transactions, promoting bank products and services, assisting customers with maintenance requests, and resolving service issues. You will play a crucial role in helping the branch achieve its objectives while providing industry-leading customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly attitude and a willingness to assist at all times.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, ensuring timely and responsive communication.
  • Safeguard customer confidentiality and trust.
  • Engage customers to identify their needs and refer them to appropriate team members.
  • Maintain accurate balancing and error records, addressing discrepancies as needed.
  • Process deposits, verifying amounts and endorsements.
  • Adhere to operational standards regarding security and compliance.
  • Complete required training on bank policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed sales referral goals while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our products and services.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to offer effective solutions.
  • Conduct outreach to clients and prospects to meet branch calling goals.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED; 1-2 years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Willingness to travel for training and meetings as required.
  • Trustworthy and capable of maintaining confidentiality.
Basic Requirements
