Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front office operations to guarantee compliance with safety and service protocols.
  • Ensure effective check-in processes and operational efficiencies are maintained.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and recognition to team members to foster a positive work environment.
  • Act as a liaison between guests and management, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Facilitate daily meetings with the Guest Services team to set priorities and gather feedback.
  • Monitor team performance, offering real-time guidance and support.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and associated areas.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of guest service personnel.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop strategies for enhancing guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in performance management processes, including employee evaluations and conflict resolution.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a front desk or rooms division role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with general software systems.
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in hospitality or a related field.
  • Experience with hotel management software.
  • Previous experience in a large family-oriented resort or hotel setting.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Capability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Physical agility to bend, stretch, and twist as needed.
