Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Resident Life team in developing and implementing therapeutic recreation programs that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth in our residents.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for our residents.
  • Provide individualized attention and support to residents, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in pediatric care and therapeutic recreation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as recreation therapy, special education, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children and young adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required by the position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
