Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute medications to residents in accordance with established nursing standards and policies.
  • Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians to ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential resident medication and care records.
  • Work collaboratively with housekeepers and maintenance staff to maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
  • Encourage teamwork and provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Prefer one year of experience assisting with medication at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is a plus.
  • Must be able to operate MS Office programs and possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
