Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician at Trinchero Family Estates, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical production and supporting plant equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills in mechanical and electrical areas. You will work under the general direction of the Maintenance Lead and be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of winery equipment, set up, and installation.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform simple, rudimentary tasks unsupervised
  • Assist in performing more difficult tasks under supervision
  • Basic understanding of hand tools and hardware
  • Can complete simple PM work orders independently and complex PM Work Orders under guidance of Maintenance Lead
  • Beginner in the following skills: o Skill 1
o Skill 2
o Skill 3

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience Preferred: Minimum 2 years' experience in
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Problem-solving skills in mechanical and electrical areas
  • Demonstrates a highly motivated work ethic
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively work as part of a team
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions and take direction
  • Ability to respond to frequently changing production pressures
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Valid California Driver's license

Working Conditions:

  • Moderate to heavy physical work
  • Work site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates' facilities
  • Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
  • Must comply with all safety equipment requirements including ear plugs and safety glasses
  • Exposure to various chemicals in production areas
  • Exposure to machinery, forklifts, and related production equipment
  • Long and irregular hours during peak periods or on various shifts
  • Depending on production efficiencies, weekend work will be required.
  • Extensive walking and lifting of up to 55 pounds

Salary Range:
$42.30

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
