CNC Nursing Supervisor Joint Ortho

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a CNC Nursing Supervisor Joint Ortho, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Recommends and implements courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.
- Assist with staff scheduling. Manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
- Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the State of TX or have an active compact license.
- BLS issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association required at hire.
- 1+ years experience in MedSurg required, experience in Joint Ortho preferred.
