Registered Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Waterview Hills Campus in North Salem, Westchester County. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising unit activities, staff assignments, and demonstrating clinical expertise consistent with established nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and oversee unit activities and staff assignments
- Identify and respond appropriately to patient needs
- Monitor, observe, and document vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses
- Administer medications and treatments as needed
- Communicate and direct services to appropriate team members, resident family, or medical staff as needed
- Identify and follow disciplinary action as stated in policy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and other vendors/services
- Perform RN assessment to residents post-incidents or change in condition
- Lead and direct emergency situations
- Maintain accurate nursing reports, staffing sheets, and census roster
Requirements:
- Current and good standing RN License in the State of New York
- Previous experience with geriatric/short-term rehabilitation/Alzheimer's patients is desirable
- Progressive nursing experience in a geriatric setting. Supervisory experience preferred
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary quality compassionate care to each resident
- Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents
- Have patience and willingness to assist any residents and coworkers
- Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
- Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff
