Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Health Professionals. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during procedures, providing support and ensuring patient comfort
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials
  • Take and develop dental X-rays, as needed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients
  • Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments
  • Perform lab tasks and assist with equipment maintenance
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a dental assistant
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Dentrix knowledge and good computer skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Current/Active RDA certificate and registration
  • CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional certification or training (e.g. EFDA)
  • Experience with implants, endo, Invisalign, and scanning
