Job Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified individual with a Q1 OR Q5 QUALIFIER FOR NATURAL GAS AND LIQUID PETROLEUM LICENSE to fulfill our contract obligations in the expanding Fort Myers, FL region. Our company is known for tackling unique and exceptional projects, and we are looking for motivated professionals eager to engage in residential, commercial, and industrial installations.

Essential Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years in the gas installation trade is required. Experience operating excavators and holding a CDL License is advantageous.
  • Preferred but not mandatory: Generac Generator training or equivalent.
  • Must possess or have successfully completed a current Q1 OR Q5 MASTER QUALIFIER LICENSE for the state of Florida.
  • Ability to troubleshoot gas leaks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness in all work performed.
  • Proficient in sizing gas pipes, regulators, and producing isometric drawings.
  • Familiarity with various tools and equipment, including power construction machinery, measuring devices, power tools, and testing instruments such as manometers and gas leak detectors.
  • Conduct inspections of LP and NG gas systems, equipment, and components to identify potential hazards, defects, or necessary adjustments, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Ability to guide and train team members in the installation, repair, and maintenance of gas lines and associated equipment.
