Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the survey work on boundary, transportation, municipal, and civil engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to take their career to the next level in a rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with a Professional Licensed Surveyor (PLS) on survey projects
  • Perform scanning projects using terrestrial laser scanners
  • Conduct bathymetric surveys using remote control boats
  • Collect topographic and land survey data using Trimble Robotic Total Stations, R12i GPS, and TSC7 Data Collectors
  • Perform physical tasks such as setting monuments and clearing line
  • Operate as a one-man crew
  • Utilize Civil 3D to create 3D surface files and plats
Requirements
  • 2 or 4-year degree in surveying or a related field
  • 0-5 years of related survey experience
  • Valid driver's license and a solid driving record
Desired Skills and Experiences
  • Ability to become a Professional Licensed Surveyor (PLS) in 5 years
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Civil 3D and/or MicroStation skills
Physical Demands
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods
  • Ability to sit, walk, reach, crouch, bend, and walk or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Consistent hand, finger, and arm use
  • Consistent computer screen exposure
  • Prolonged reading
