As a Class A CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:

  • Loading or assisting in loading trailer with materials
  • Unloading or assisting in unloading trailer by using forklift or hand truck
  • Operating semi-truck with one or two trailers, according to state laws
  • Transporting loads over required route to proper destinations, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Conducting standard DOT truck inspection
  • Completing all company and DOT required paperwork
  • Completing shipping bills of lading, receiving necessary signatures, and returning completed paperwork to shipping office
  • Maintaining any related records required
  • Performing miscellaneous service duties such as checking, on a daily basis, oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires
  • Reporting any maintenance malfunctions to maintenance department
  • Other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A CDL required; hazmat endorsement preferred
  • A driving record that meets company standards
  • Must meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
