Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Truck Driver to operate heavy-duty trucks and transport residential household waste or recyclable material to a disposal, transfer, or recycle facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

As a CDL Truck Driver with Waste Management, Inc., your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operating heavy-duty trucks safely and efficiently;
  • Collecting residential household waste or recyclable material from designated routes;
  • Transporting material to a disposal, transfer, or recycle facility when trucks reach legal load capacity;
  • Safely maneuvering vehicles in residential environments and navigating congested roadways.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL);
  • At least 1 year of experience driving a tractor-trailer combination;
  • Excellent vision and hearing abilities;
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
  • A strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and location. Additionally, you may be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
