Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Product Business Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our insurance products meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. This will involve working closely with our underwriting, pricing, and systems teams to develop and implement new products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' needs and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new insurance products and services.
- Work with underwriting and pricing teams to ensure that our products are priced correctly and meet regulatory requirements.
- Test and validate new software and systems to ensure integration with our existing infrastructure.
- Support the development of product pricing, guidelines, and forms.
- Prepare and review documentation for new products and services.
- Review competitor products and services to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the Underwriting Department with troubleshooting and rating issues.
- 3+ years of experience in the commercial property and casualty insurance industry, preferably in an underwriting or product development capacity.
- Knowledge of multiple P&C products, including property, general liability, excess, inland marine, and professional lines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under general supervision and guidance, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting goals.
- Proven ability to think strategically and innovatively, with a strong understanding of the insurance industry and market trends.
