About the Role

Evolent Health is seeking a Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team of finance professionals working to advance our mission. The FP&A team is a centralized corporate team focused on financial intelligence, analysis, and forecasting with a focus on delivering strategic thought partnership with a financial lens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the Product & Technology leadership teams and leading the FP&A team for that business area.
  • Leading, managing, and developing a high-performing team with a culture focused on serving as a trusted partner to the business.
  • Driving business initiatives including developing business insights, target setting / budgeting, long-term strategic / financial planning, and proactive performance management.
  • Building trusted relationships with business leaders and stakeholders by providing financial perspectives on business drivers and supporting strategic decision making as a thought partner.
  • Developing and communicating the FP&A team's strategic direction including areas of innovation to better support the business.
  • Advancing the team's strategy around leveraging technology to streamline forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Synthesizing key financial and business performance updates and issues for executive-level decision making.
  • Authoring and communicating financial information to internal stakeholders at all levels and tailoring materials for the audience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related quantitative field.
  • 8 years' experience in FP&A, investment banking, accounting, or relevant finance role.
  • Previous experience working with public companies and in technology / software / IT.
  • Broad experience with ERP systems and planning, forecasting, and reporting solutions.
  • Command of core financial concepts and disciplines including accounting, budgeting / forecasting, and financial modeling.
