We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team at Mativ's Woodville, Wisconsin Distribution Center. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press machines, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Machine Operation: Set up and operate press machines to produce high-quality products.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on press machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and accuracy, and make adjustments as needed.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other production team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Manufacturing experience, preferably in a press operation environment.
- Skills: Basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, squat, twist, reach, push, pull, and lift.
