Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Medical Department Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Medical Staff, including maintenance of Curriculum Vitae, CME tracking, and general administrative functions.

Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative support to Medical Staff members, including maintenance of Curriculum Vitae and CME tracking.
  • Schedules meetings attended by Medical Staff members.
  • Supports the Medical Education program by ensuring trainee onboarding efficiency.
  • Processes Medical Staff educational travel and time off requests.
  • Prepares expense reimbursement and check requests.
  • Organizes and orders department supplies.
  • Data entry and collection in support of the Medical Staff Ongoing and Focused practitioner evaluation processes.
  • Supports CME activities, including visiting professorships, grand rounds, and journal club.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years of administrative support experience required
  • Administrative experience in a hospital, healthcare setting, or physician's office preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
