Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Conduct 2D and 3D radar cross section analysis on innovative designs for significant business initiatives.
  • Utilize your expertise to tackle unique radar cross section challenges, providing tailored solutions for each engine's requirements.
  • Work closely with a leadership team dedicated to executing current programs while fostering the development of a world-class design team for future projects.
  • Oversee the design, development, and fabrication of full-scale radar cross section models for compact radar range testing as needed.
  • Employ GE proprietary prediction codes and industry-standard CAD/meshing tools for radar cross section analysis.
  • Effectively communicate project priorities to ensure alignment with business objectives amidst multiple concurrent efforts.
  • Document technical data generated for assigned projects in accordance with engineering policies and procedures.


Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited institution (advanced degrees are preferred).
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a radar cross section engineering design role.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance.


Desired Skills
We are looking for candidates who can thrive in a dynamic military environment and demonstrate:

  • Experience in designing specialized components to minimize radar cross section in structures.
  • Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (such as UG, Patran, Hypermesh) with experience in surface and volumetric meshing.
  • A strong understanding of RCS scattering phenomena, with experience using high-frequency Physical Optics codes and/or full-wave based codes.
  • Experience in RCS range measurements and model design and fabrication.
