Position Overview

The Senior Wind Energy Technician plays a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of wind farm operations. This position is essential for ensuring the optimal performance of wind turbine systems and involves a variety of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance and repairs on wind turbine generation systems.
  • Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical diagnostics to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Ensure the upkeep of all company-provided tools, equipment, and facilities.
  • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of technical processes and functions.
  • Manage personal training schedules to fulfill all required training within specified timelines.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 0 years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of a valid non-commercial driver's license.
  • Capability to ascend wind turbines up to 300 feet.
  • Successful completion of a post-offer functional capacity evaluation.

Preferred:

  • Associate's Degree in a related field.

Employment Details

This position is classified as Non-Exempt and is offered on a Full-Time basis within the Technicians - Wind/HV/Solar job category. Relocation assistance may be available if applicable.
