Job Summary

The Night Auditor is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and financial systems during the overnight shift. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, and conducting security walks.

Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, ensuring that all guests are checked in and out efficiently and effectively.
  • Financial Management: Balance transactions, prepare daily reports, and conduct security walks to ensure the integrity of our financial systems.
  • Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with other hotel staff, including the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the overnight shift, using your problem-solving skills and judgment to ensure that our guests receive the best possible service.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of accounting principles and financial management systems.
