Job Summary

The Night Auditor is a critical role at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Bismarck South, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of hotel operations during the overnight shift. Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Auditing and Reporting: Conduct thorough audits of hotel operations, including financial transactions, guest accounts, and inventory management.
  • Security and Safety: Perform security walks, ensure all areas are locked and secured, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with other hotel staff, management, and guests, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks, such as preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Certifications: Knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
