Senior Audit Manager Position

We are looking for an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join our Accounting and Finance team at Jobot. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit and construction sectors, as well as expertise in external audit procedures and certified public accounting (CPA).

Job Overview
  • Lead and manage audit engagements to ensure timely delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and senior management to provide expert advice on accounting and auditing matters.
Main Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate audit engagements according to firm standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and analyze audit work papers, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate key findings and recommendations to senior management and clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve audit processes and enhance service delivery.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in public accounting, focusing on audits in nonprofit and construction sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of external audit procedures and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to mentor and develop staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, handling complex audit issues.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
