Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed practitioners with patient care tasks, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
- Perform clinical procedures, such as phlebotomy and EKGs, as delegated by licensed practitioners.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
- 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a Medical Assistant.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
