Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonograms, providing quality patient care, and assuming responsibility for all ultrasound services offered. This role will work closely with patients, coworkers, lead sonographer, manager, Radiologists, providers, and all other clinic/hospital staff to ensure the highest quality of care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic medical sonograms, both general and vascular
  • Provide quality patient care and assume responsibility for all ultrasound services offered
  • Work closely with patients, coworkers, lead sonographer, manager, Radiologists, providers, and all other clinic/hospital staff
  • Assist the Core Leader in meeting department goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE) Or equivalent educ/experience
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or
  • National Registered Technologist - Sonography
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience
