Position Overview: Execute a range of responsibilities primarily focused on housekeeping and maintenance tasks to enhance the appearance and functionality of our facilities.
Support staff with event-related setups and breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of designated buildings or event areas.
    Utilize appropriate equipment and cleaning supplies in accordance with established protocols.
    Manage inventory for cleaning supplies.
  • Prepare rooms for meetings, rental events, and special occasions in assigned buildings.
    Review event schedules and requirements.
    Provide assistance and guidance as necessary, including during evenings and weekends.
  • Coordinate with event staff to ensure all events meet our organization’s high standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings to identify and address any issues.
  • Handle deliveries and ensure items are distributed to the correct locations.
  • Assist service personnel, such as maintenance workers, by directing them to the appropriate areas.
  • Perform minor repairs on doors, furniture, and small equipment.
    Help staff with the relocation of heavy items.
  • Manage alarm systems as required.
  • Report safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
    Notify relevant service teams of any operational issues, including heating, cooling, plumbing, or electrical concerns.
  • Adhere to procedures outlined in the Facilities Maintenance handbook.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
At least 2 years of full-time experience in custodial services is preferred.
Basic knowledge of building maintenance techniques is required.
Ability to operate and manage basic custodial tools and equipment is essential.
Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens may occur.
Vaccination for Hepatitis B will be available.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is required (training provided).
OSHA forklift certification may be requested; prior forklift experience is a plus.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications is advantageous.

  • Work Environment: Facilities are located both indoors and outdoors.
  • Equipment: General custodial cleaning tools, carts, hand trucks, pickup trucks with lift tailgates, forklifts, ladders, two-way radios, and standard office equipment.
  • Schedule: This position may require occasional evening and weekend hours, depending on assignments.
