Position Overview:

Transdev is currently on the lookout for ASE certified technicians to join our team. We seek skilled and experienced fleet technicians to effectively diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment, while conducting daily safety inspections under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance on transit vehicles in accordance with Transdev standards
  • Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair all assigned transit vehicles and related mechanical equipment
  • Ensure accurate upgrades and modifications on coach systems, as well as on-the-road repairs as necessary
  • Provide coaching and oversight to team members
  • Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Experience in maintaining various types of transit buses
  • Commercial Driving License obtained within a 2-year timeframe
  • Preferred Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read and interpret safety documents, blueprints, schematics, and mechanical diagrams
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, including background and drug testing
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; reach with hands or arms; and communicate effectively
  • Frequent sitting required
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds
  • Capability to work in extreme temperatures and damp environments with moderate noise
  • Potential exposure to water, fumes, and chemicals
Who You Are:

You are at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. You possess a valid driver's license in good standing and the ability to obtain a CDL permit. You exhibit excellent customer service and communication skills, and you prioritize punctuality and attendance.
