Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter Foreman to join our team at MasTec Industrial. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of our pipe fitters to ensure the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production: Interpret specifications and read blueprints to ensure accurate installation of pipe systems.
  • Assist in laying out work for the pipe fitting crew and preplan daily activities to meet job schedule.
  • Monitor quality control of work in place by pipe fitters and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Order and coordinate delivery of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out project-related reports.
Quality and Safety
  • Quality: Monitor pipe installation for quality issues and ensure that all work meets company standards.
  • Safety: Promote and comply with all company and safety policies and procedures, and train and instruct pipe fitters in safe work practices.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, and appraising the work performance of pipe fitters.
  • Directly supervise and coordinate daily activities of pipe fitters.
  • Complete employee status changes (transfer, layoff, termination) and conduct regular performance reviews.
Requirements
  • 4 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or GED certification (preferred).
  • Plus 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
