Role Objective:

The Loss Prevention Associate plays a crucial role in safeguarding the organization from financial losses attributed to theft and fraudulent activities while ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards across assigned locations.

This position employs various strategies to mitigate losses, which include identifying theft incidents, analyzing surveillance footage, assessing physical security measures, auditing anti-theft systems, and fostering a culture focused on reducing shrinkage.


Key Responsibilities:

Documenting apprehensions and recoveries through precise and comprehensive reports, preserving evidence, collaborating with law enforcement, and providing testimony in legal proceedings.

The Loss Prevention Associate is also responsible for reporting any unsafe conditions to the Store Manager and executing job duties in a manner that minimizes injury risks to themselves, colleagues, vendors, customers, and the organization.

Integrity is paramount; the associate must address asset protection and operational issues raised by all team members while remaining aligned with store-specific business goals and supporting essential asset protection functions.
