Job Title: Asset Protection Specialist

At The Home Depot, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Protection Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, as well as supporting safety and environmental program compliance in our stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and investigate incidents of theft and fraud, utilizing tools and resources to minimize loss to the company.
  • Monitor store physical security, audit Electronic Article Surveillance, and drive a shrink elimination culture in the store.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed case reports, preserve evidence, and interact with law enforcement and testify in criminal and civil court actions.
  • Report any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and carry out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to associates, vendors, customers, and the company.
