Role Overview: We are in search of an Analyst possessing an active Top Secret security clearance to perform open-source investigations in support of our Facility Clearance mission. This role is integral to our risk-based industrial security oversight efforts, providing essential business, risk, and security analysis support. The research sources utilized are primarily confined to commercial and government databases, controlled unclassified information (CUI), and publicly accessible information (PAI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate business evaluations and source documentation pertinent to Facility Clearance eligibility, foreign ownership, control or influence, and other business vulnerabilities.
  • Examine and assess corporate documentation submitted by entities engaging in or participating in the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
  • Conduct additional open-source investigations to uncover discrepancies, omissions, verify foreign ownership, control, or influence (FOCI), and identify risk indicators.
  • Analyze risk, intelligence, commercial due diligence, finance, or mergers and acquisitions utilizing publicly available information (PAI).
  • Implement analytical standards to business intelligence data.
  • Detect trends, patterns, anomalies, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Compile weekly analytical reports summarizing contractors' activities and their implications on Facility Clearances within the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, market research, security, intelligence, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in risk analysis, competitive intelligence, commercial due diligence, finance, or mergers and acquisitions.
  • At least eight (8) years of experience applying analytical standards to business intelligence and security or intelligence data.
  • Eight (8) years of experience utilizing commercial and proprietary business, legal, and intelligence databases and resources.
  • Proven experience in identifying trends, patterns, anomalies, and recommending solutions.
  • Experience in drafting analytical reports based on critical thinking applied to complex hierarchical structures and relationships.
  • Basic understanding of international dynamics concerning U.S. security interests.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply research principles to analyze, evaluate, and interpret raw data from diverse sources.
  • Current Top-Secret (TS) security clearance verifiable through DISS-JVS, prior to commencement.
