Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Oversee the packaging operations for the export of manufactured components. This entails: Designing the packaging (boxes, etc.); Preparing packages for shipment, which involves labeling boxes with tracking information and ensuring all identifying details are correctly applied for efficient logistics; Maintaining meticulous attention to detail concerning product and shipping data; Staying organized while managing multiple orders concurrently; Occasionally packing components manually.
  • Handle the loading and unloading of parts into the magnetic sorting apparatus; Troubleshoot and rectify minor issues with the feeder bowl due to jammed components. Complete routine maintenance checks and necessary documentation related to the sorting equipment. Provide samples to Quality Assurance as required.
  • Keep the workspace and equipment in a tidy and orderly state while adhering to standard safety protocols. Identify and report any faulty operations or defective materials, as well as any other unusual conditions to the supervisor or team leader. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Proficient in reading and writing English
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
