Job Overview

This position involves providing technical leadership to develop and execute Precision Neuroscience's machine learning strategy, aligned with the company's long-term product roadmap. You will lead the design and implementation of machine learning models for decoding neural signals and optimizing closed-loop BCI applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of machine learning models for decoding neural signals and optimizing closed-loop BCI applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of machine learning solutions into our products.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a team of machine learning engineers and researchers.
  • Drive collaborative research initiatives to explore cutting edge machine learning methodologies, algorithms, and models tailored for BCI applications.
  • Oversight of the end-to-end development lifecycle of machine learning projects.
Qualifications

A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience, or a related field with a focus on machine learning, artificial intelligence, or signal processing is required. At least 10+ years of experience in machine learning, with at least 5+ years in industry working on machine-learning based products, is also necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of modern machine learning and signal processing in biomedical domains, a strong track record of shipping machine-learning based products in the healthcare space, along with strong leadership abilities to drive innovation and guide our team of talented ML engineers and researchers.

Experience with large-scale data processing and familiarly with BCI technology, neuroimaging data, and brain signal processing techniques is also desired.

What We Offer

This position comes with an estimated annual salary of $260,000 - $275,000, commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Location: Santa Clara, California. On-site work is expected, but we cannot consider fully remote workers or people not currently based in the United States, and who do not have working rights.
