POSITION SUMMARY: This role encompasses a range of responsibilities within the Loan Servicing Department, focusing on both routine and specialized loan servicing tasks. The individual will engage in research to address account discrepancies and deliver outstanding customer service through various communication channels. Confidentiality of sensitive bank records and customer data is paramount, and the position operates under the guidance of the Loan Servicing Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates all operational functions of the Loan Servicing Department, handling business loans, residential mortgages, and consumer loans.
- Processes both standard and complex transactions, including but not limited to new loan entries, disbursements, escrow transactions, wire transfers, loan repayments, advances, participation deals, account reconciliations, and third-party reporting. Proactively addresses inquiries and resolves issues.
- Conducts thorough reviews of loan documentation, ensuring all necessary paperwork is submitted and any discrepancies are rectified.
- Maintains organized loan file records, ensuring accurate imaging and proper filing of documents.
- Stays informed on all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Delivers exceptional customer service, fostering a professional and collaborative atmosphere with both internal and external stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong communication, analytical, and customer service abilities. Proficient in MS Office applications. Competent data entry skills. Capable of managing multiple tasks and workflows within established parameters. Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The position is primarily office-based, with frequent interruptions. The individual must be able to maintain a stationary position, operate a computer, navigate the workplace, and communicate effectively. This role is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in line with Webster Five's Remote Work Policy.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
MINIMUM PRIOR EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in loan servicing is required.
