AECOM is seeking a talented Senior Environmental Project Manager

We are a global infrastructure consulting firm, partnering with clients to solve complex challenges and build legacies for future generations.

This role will be responsible for managing projects related to environmental investigation and remediation, site development and permitting, and evaluations to determine potential risk of exposure to human and environmental receptors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental project management, with experience in site investigation and remediation, business development, and team management.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing site investigation and remediation techniques to drive solutions for clients
  • Managing projects and establishing project-specific objectives
  • Providing management and guidance to AECOM staff, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Engaging existing and potential clients regarding AECOM service capabilities
  • Providing mentorship to staff
  • Overseeing and delivering projects in accordance with specifications, budget, and schedule
  • Determining and defining project scope and objectives
  • Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders
  • Supervising the management of all phases of projects
  • Predicting resource needs and managing resources effectively
  • Effectively managing teams and scheduling staff and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery
  • Providing technical oversight and quality control of documents
  • Providing project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders
  • Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations
  • Identifying, mitigating, and managing project risks
  • Managing complex clients and projects
  • Consistently delivering planned project profit margins

Qualifications include a BS in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field, and 6+ years of project management experience in site investigation, remediation, and business development.
