Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Quality Department Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the quality department, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all quality systems, including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, are implemented and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and Implement Quality Initiatives: Assess and recommend improvements in methods, sampling techniques, and control processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Serve as the main point of contact for other departments, including production, engineering, and sales, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and Present Reports: Prepare and present Total Quality Management (TQM) reports for the quality department, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Represent the Company: Represent Delta Staffing in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer requirements, ensuring that the company's quality standards are met.
  • Travel and Communication: Regular travel to visit customers and suppliers to address quality issues and develop solutions, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Administrative Responsibilities: Manage administrative activities, including employee selection, development, pay administration, budget management, safety, counseling, motivation, and goal setting, to ensure that the quality department is running efficiently.
  • Quality Control and Improvement: Oversee quality control activities and ensure continuous improvement, adhering to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Degree in engineering or a related field with experience in production or manufacturing, and a minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Professional accreditation as a quality engineer.
