Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. As an Operating Room Assistant, you will play a vital role in the treatment and care of patients in the Operating Room under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, assembly, and organization of the environment, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform surgical procedures.
- Scrub in for surgical procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide support to the Operating Room staff as needed.
Requirements
- One year minimum operating room experience required.
- An emphasis in orthopedics is highly desired.
- BLS certification is required.
