We are currently seeking a Professional Engineer with expertise in spill prevention and response to join our team. As a key member of our environmental compliance department, you will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, updating, and recertifying the Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan for the Wilkes-Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center (WBVAMC).

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of the existing SPCC plan to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to update the SPCC plan, ensuring compliance with 40 CFR 112 and PADEP guidelines
- Collaborate with facility staff to ensure successful implementation of plan updates
- Provide expert guidance on environmental compliance and risk management

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental compliance and risk management
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations and guidelines, including 40 CFR 112 and PADEP requirements
- Excellent communication and project management skills
